Licensing Deal For Hit Children's TV Show

UK Children’s Hero BRUM Arrives In America On Video September 2003

(Port Washington, New York) - - May 15, 2003 - - KOCH Vision, the home video arm of KOCH Entertainment, announced today that it has entered into an exclusive long-term home video licensing agreement with Ragdoll Entertainment to distribute their hit children’s television series BRUM. KOCH will distribute BRUM exclusively in the US and Canada. Consumers can expect to see BRUM home video products on retail shelves this September.

, from the creators of the Teletubbies, is a live-action comedy for children 3-8 years old that highlights the heroic and hilarious adventures of a super brave action hero who just happens to be a little antique car. The series debuted on the BBC in the U.K. in late 2001, receiving rave reviews and stellar ratings. When introduced, BRUM achieved the highest rating share for its time slot and is watched by over half a million children in the U.K. every week. BRUM premiered in the US in February 2003 on the READY SET LEARN! programming block on Discovery Kids and TLC.Andrew Kerr, VP Marketing and Strategic Alliances for Ragdoll Entertainment in the US comments, "We are very excited to welcome KOCH to the Ragdoll family. She created the Teletubbies series with Andrew Davenport for the BBC in 1997, and more than one billion children in over 120 territories can currently enjoy the program. In the United States, Teletubbies is broadcast in partnership with PBS.
