KOCH to Distribute New Hip-Hop Label I.M. Records
(Port Washington, NY) January 4, 2005 - KOCH Entertainment Distribution, the leading independent distributor of music, video and DVD, announced today an exclusive North American distribution deal with newly-formed hip-hop label I.M. Records.
Based in Atlanta, I.M. Records was originally launched five years ago as I.M. productions. Headed by industry veterans Donald Murphy Sr. as Chairman, CEO Michael "Big Wig" Trammel and President Clint Watkins, the label plans to bring its talent to an industry hungry for quality and artistry through its flagship hip-hop group EDUBB. Forthcoming projects include releases by R&B songstress Kindrea and hip-hop artist Malikah Jones.
