KOCH Entertainment Dominates US Independent Albums Chart
(Port Washington, New York) - - April 3, 2003 - - KOCH Entertainment, the leading independent distributor of music, video and DVD, holds four of the six top positions on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart, including the # 1 slot. All four albums are also Top 200 albums, and three titles are Top 100.
The following KOCH Entertainment albums appear on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart for the week ending March 30, 2003: Rewind Hip Hop “Issue # 1” (Landspeed) No. 1, B.G. “Livin’ Legend” (KOCH Records/In The Paint) No. 3, Ani DiFranco “Evolve” (Righteous Babe) No. 5, Ringo Starr “Ringorama” (KOCH Records) No. 6, Transplants “Transplants” (Epitaph) No. 15, Sammy Kershaw “I Want My Money” (KOCH Records/Audium) No. 27, Chico Debarge “Free” (KOCH Records) No. 43 and Daniel O’Donnell “Daniel O’Donnell” (DPTV Media) No. 45.
KOCH has three of the Top 100 Albums in the U.S. with Rewind Hip Hop “Issue # 1” No. 34, B.G. “Livin’ Legend” No. 83 and Ani DiFranco “Evolve” No. 92.
